What is the Yarn Winding Table? We’re happy to wind your newly- purchased skeins for you! This is done on a first-come, first-serve basis. Drop off your skein, we’ll give you a receipt so you can claim your yarn cakes when we’re finished. You can start your new project immediately!
The 2026 Yarn Winding Table is sponsored by Red Door Fibers.

What is the Fix It Station?
The Fix It Station is a happy place with knowledgeable knitters and crocheters volunteering their time to help answer some questions you have about your project. Not meant to be a “teach you how to” area, but a place to go for possible solutions for niggling issues, advice on how to do something differently, or account for the dropped stitch 3 rows back and a place for cheering you on.
The 2026 Fix It Station is sponsored by Yarn Social.
We're supporting

Bring your left over craft supplies and gently used school supplies for donations in the big bins. Need ideas? Visit https://scrapskc.org/ to see what's on their wish list.
Established in 2016, ScrapsKC is a nonprofit Teacher Resource Center dedicated to supporting educators with school supplies and other essential items for their classrooms. We support this initiative with our Creative Reuse Center, a unique space full of donated arts and crafts materials, textiles, and much more. ScrapsKC is a champion of environmental sustainability, diverting thousands of pounds of useful materials from the landfill each week.

We're collecting Hats!
