Franklin Habit and Edie Eckman
Knitting in the Heartland was thrilled to bring Edie Eckman and Franklin Habit to the Kansas City area. We also had a host of talented local teachers featuring a diverse selection of classes. We expanded offerings in 2018 to include a bit of crochet, a bit of spinning, and a lot of fun--something for every skill level, from beginner to expert. We even had a needle tatting class!

Stephanie Pearl-McPhee
The Sunflower Knitters Guild was pleased to host New York Times bestselling author and acclaimed knitter, Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, as our featured instructor and keynote speaker for KITH 2016.
2014
Fiona Ellis
We were pleased to host Fiona Ellis as our featured instructor in 2014. Fiona has been designing commercially since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Knitwear Design from DeMontfort University, England in 1993. In addition to personal appearances and workshop instruction at international conferences and guilds, Fiona is also a Craftsy on-line instructor. Widely published in premier knitting magazines, her patterns are also carried by many leading yarn companies. She is author of Inspired Cable Knits, Inspired Fair Isle Knits and Knitspiration Journal (all published by Potter Craft).
